Visual Hf is a pretty unique initiative and is the results of partnership between The Animation Workshop and Viborg Gymnasium (our local High School). It is basically an education targeted towards young people who wishes to work with creative processes and at the same time earn a General Certificate of Secondary Education.
In other words, Visual Hf offers a creative youth education where apart from the common curriculum (English, math and so on); the students will receive an additional schoolyear with a focus on visual learning and the development of a creative skillset.
This education really makes me hate the fact that I am getting older. I would have loved to attend an education like this one, especially seeing how I spend all my school time drawing on my notes anyway. The teacher often got mad at me, but it turned out I was just ahead of my time. Go figure. But, if you are not an old ghoul like me, you could drop by their website right here and sign up.
Honestly, I could talk about this stuff forever, we have hardly even brushed the surface yet. Needless to say, we do have a fairly unique creative environment here in Viborg, with a huge international potential.
